Compensation

Position Compensation Range:

$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities
  • You will be responsible for profitability of contract and commercial surety bonds.
  • Underwrite individual accounts and manage high quality surety portfolios.
  • Provide technical support to the field organization.
  • Contribute to bond product and systems development.
  • Participate in the audit process to ensure expected underwriting discipline is maintained.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the bonds organization to increase profitable growth and maintain a loss ratio.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions or service.
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in surety underwriting and ability to select risk.
  • Demonstrated experience in credit analysis.
  • Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations.
  • Knowledge of lines of business and legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis, and win-win negotiating.
  • Demonstrated communication skills in both written and oral communications.

In this remote/primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home. On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.
