Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Laredo in Laredo, TX, is a 183-bed acute care facility offering a range of medical services. The Rehab department seeks an experienced therapist to perform evaluations and treatments in outpatient and acute inpatient settings and to lead the rehab team.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related field, a TX state license, CPR certification, and has at least two years of rehab experience.

Qualifications

Master's degree required in PT, SLP, or OT.
TX state license in PT/OT/SLP required.
CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Perform therapy evaluations and treatments in outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
Lead the Rehab team in the absence of the Director and supervise subordinate staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology orOccupational Therapy
TX State Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology License required.
Minimum of two (2) of experience in Rehabilitation Services
Current CPR certification required.
Ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and the ability to assume supervisoryresponsibilities in the absence of the Director.
Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/orlicense(s).
