Job summary

A leading agency is seeking a SUPV IT Cybersecurity Specialist to manage voice and video infrastructure operations at a federal level. Job description

SUPV IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC)

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

Location: DISA White House Communications Agency, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility for conversion to the Competitive Service. Current Federal employees will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.

Duties
  • Serve as an expert on policy, planning, security, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, data management, systems administration, and customer support.
  • Develop and manage program tracking systems for changes, upgrades, and lifecycle actions.
  • Advise the Voice Systems Division on policy development, coordination, and implementation.
  • Coordinate development and updating of Voice and Video systems and infrastructure documentation, including wiring diagrams, warranties, and operational documents.
  • Manage Voice and Video operations and maintenance within the Presidential Information Technology Community (PITC), covering both Unclassified and Classified networks.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Security clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Yankee White; a favorable suitability review is required.
  • Drug testing required.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered with Selective Service.
  • Submission of Financial Disclosure Statement (OGE-450) upon appointment and annually.
Qualifications

To qualify at GG-14, you must demonstrate at least one year of experience overseeing voice and video infrastructure operations, managing technical teams, and providing expert IT duties such as policy, cybersecurity, and systems analysis.

Experience must be described in your resume, including how you meet the qualifications and/or placement factors. All qualifications are required within 30 days of the closing date.

Prior to reporting, the candidate must be eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI access and approved for Presidential Support Duty under Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II).

  • Probationary or trial period may be required.
  • Telework depends on mission needs and supervisor approval.
  • Relocation costs and incentives may be authorized.
  • Position subject to completion of a 1-year probationary period for supervisory roles.
