Job summary

Graland Country Day School in Denver, CO is seeking an Infant/Toddler Assistant to support lead teachers in caring for up to ten children and maintain safe, structured daily routines. You will help plan activities, prepare snacks, supervise play, reinforce positive behavior, and communicate with families.

Must meet CO DHS Infant/Toddler requirements, hold CPR/First Aid, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet Infant/Toddler Teacher requirements per CO DHS.
• Must be 21+ and able to provide documentation.
• Two years of training/experience with children aged 1–4.
• CPR, First Aid, Universal Precautions certification required; 15 hours PD annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in care and safety of up to ten children per day.
• Support planning and implementation of daily lesson plans and family communications.
• Maintain age-appropriate routines and daily schedules.
• Assist in set‑up, snacks, diapering, cleaning and playground supervision.
• Use positive behavior reinforcement and developmentally appropriate guidance.
• Build positive relationships with families, children and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and site events; participate in PD opportunities.
• Provide after‑care supervision and childcare during PD days.
