Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced vibration engineer to perform diagnostic services on rotating and reciprocating machinery using Bently System1 software at customer sites. The role involves service contract execution, data analysis, and documentation to support recommendations and invoicing.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree, 10 years of vibration experience, and strong English communication. Overtime and TWIC card eligibility within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred) with 10 years of vibration defect analysis experience.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC Card within 90 days of employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision and work independently.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• ISO CAT III or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Rotating/Reciprocating Machinery diagnostics using Bently System1 monitoring software.
• Execute service contracts at customer premises.
• Diagnose machinery problems from vibration and operational data and customer communications.
• Complete standard service reports and invoicing packages.
• Document findings and recommendations for internal and customer use.

Responsibilities

• Performing Rotating/Reciprocating Machinery Diagnostic Services on Industrial and Turbo Machinery using Bently System1® monitoring Software
• Executing Service Contract at customer premises
• Diagnosing basic machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and/or customer communications
• Completing standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements
• Completing Documentation of findings / recommendations both internally (Web Portal) and for customer

Requirements

• Have Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred) with minimum 10 years of experience in vibration defect analysis and corrective action recommendations
• Have the ability and willingness to work overtime, as required
• Have the ability to obtain a TWIC Card within 90 days of employment, if you do not already have one
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Be able to operate with minimal supervision, work independently, and be able to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines accordingly
• Have exceptional computer skills, both hardware and software, plus MS Office software skills
• Desired Qualifications: Have knowledge of Bently Nevada System 1 vibration monitoring platform
• ISO CAT III or higher certification
