Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in Westminster, MD is seeking a Supported Living Supervisor to coordinate daily operations of the Supported Living Program and oversee direct support staff, ensuring quality services and meaningful days for clients.

You will train staff, maintain documentation, communicate with families and case managers, ensure health and safety, and help clients access community resources. A bachelor's degree is preferred and supervisory experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year supervisor experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Functional knowledge of basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide staff per regulations and policies.
• Participate in direct service for clients as needed.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly documentation.
• Communicate with families, case managers, and healthcare professionals.
• Implement training programs per client ISP.
• Ensure medication/treatment administration and healthcare needs.
• Plan age-appropriate recreational activities.
• Ensure health, safety, and respect of individuals served.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance of client homes.
• Manage budget and bill payments.

We are looking for a Supported Living Supervisor to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operation of the Supported Living Program. This position will support and train direct support professionals to ensure quality and a meaningful day for persons served.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4pm - 12am, Monday + Friday 8am - 4pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, and provide guidance to the staff in accordance with state, federal regulations, and Benchmark personnel policies.
• Participate in direct service for each client as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly documentation as required by Benchmark, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate professionally with families, case managers, behavior consultants, health care personnel, schools, employers, etc.
• Implement training programs as specified in each client's ISP.
• Ensure proper medication/treatment administration and assists in meeting the client's healthcare needs.
• Plan and implements facility based, age appropriate, recreational activities for clients.
• Implement required training protocol for new and existing staff.
• Ensure the health, safety and respect of individuals served.
• Facilitates all repairs and required maintenance of the client's home.
• Responsible for following client's budget and ensuring payment of bills.

QUALIFICATIONS
