Overview

Exciting news! Wall Residences is continuing to grow and expand in Charlottesville, Virginia area.

Position: Supported Living Program Manager

Responsibilities
  • Support adults with intellectual disabilities through a program that is directed by the individual and their person-centered plan, including skill-building, and routine, general, and safety supports to promote self-direction, socialization, and adaptive skills.
  • Develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional staff as well as with individuals who receive services and their families.
  • Connect people to meaningful community activities and opportunities.
  • Assist with managing all aspects necessary to maintain independence in the home while providing access to 24-hour support, including ongoing or intermittent intervention as needed for health and safety.
  • Provide supervision to staff and contribute to the development and generalization of skills that promote autonomy and community connections.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required.
  • At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD).
  • Two years’ experience supervising employees.
Working Arrangements

Telecommuting position with some flexibility. Home office and internet access required. Program Managers are provided with a computer, a company vehicle for travel as needed within a regional area, training, and continuing education reimbursement.
