Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in Elizabethville/Williamstown, PA. The Supported Living Aide will provide direct care, support ADLs, personal care, mobility, meal prep, life skills, and community engagement for individuals with IDD.

Training is provided; experience welcomed but not required, and driving is preferred. You’ll join a mission-driven team committed to health, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
• Must have own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support and transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
