Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Elizabethville, PA to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with daily living, personal care, mobility, and community activities, while helping clients build independence and social skills.

No experience is required—paid training is provided. Shifts are weekend double shifts (Sat/Sun) with a Monday night option; pay up to $18.75/hour with Enhanced Pay or $16.75/hour without.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development and community transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being; document progress notes and logs.
• Complete required documentation and service logs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
• Provide community support, transportation
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
