Job description

As a Support Worker in Marlborough you will be working within the community supporting a variety of individuals to support them to live happy and meaningful lives. A day in this role will see you providing support with personal care plans and household duties. Task will include assistance with showering, dressing, mobility, medication support, hosiery application; housework and meal preparation supports.

  • We are seeking employees to work approximately 20 - 40 hours per week.
  • Operating Monday through Sunday, the successful permanent applicants will be offered guaranteed hours and agreed work times, inclusive of morning, evening and weekend shifts.
  • Having availability to work at least alternate weekends ispreferred.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Be professional, honest and reliable.
  • Be friendly in your approach, passionate about working with people, and providing a high level of care for our clients.
  • Be fit and able to achieve all tasks associated with the position, including bending, crouching, and long periods of time on your feet.
  • Hold a full New Zealand drivers licence, and have your own reliable transport.
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
  • Have received three covid19 vaccinations and be able to provide evidence of your covid19 vaccination record.
