Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Support Tech for the Surgery unit in Edgewood, Kentucky. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, with a day shift from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, including weekends.

Responsibilities include assisting the RN with direct and indirect patient care and ensuring patient safety and a clean, safe environment. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong literacy, and BLS certification.

Job Description:

The best career is right here. Provide direct and indirect patient care to support Surgery unit as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN). Support responsibilities may include facilitation of patient safety and environmental support activities. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Proficient literacy.
