Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Support Tech for the Surgery unit in Edgewood, Kentucky. Shift: Day shift, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 16 hours weekly, including weekends. The role supports patient care under RN guidance and contributes to a safe, respectful clinical environment.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, literacy proficiency and BLS certification. Non-Exempt, regular on-site work in Edgewood, KY.

Job Description:

Provide direct and indirect patient care to support Surgery unit as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN). Support responsibilities may include facilitation of patient safety and environmental support activities. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
