Job summary

Primrose School at the Galleria in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Support Teacher to nurture curiosity and support children's development through purposeful play. You will help create a fun, safe environment and collaborate with a co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum.

This full-time role runs 9:30–6:30 and offers hourly pay between $12 and $15, with benefits such as paid time off, holiday pay, training and development, and a reduced childcare rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Teaching/childcare experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Spend days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children explore the world, improve motor skills and grow vocabulary.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
