Job summary

Primrose School at the Galleria in Houston, TX seeks a dedicated Support Teacher to create a fun, safe learning environment for young children through purposeful play that fosters development.

You will partner with a co-teacher to deliver Balanced Learning curriculum, build relationships, and guide children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in a structured, caring classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year teaching experience preferred.
• 1 year childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Spend your days building genuine relationships with each child.
• Help children explore the world, improve their motor skills and grow their vocabulary.
• Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.

Job Type: Full-time (9:30-6:30)

Pay: $12-$15 per hour
