Job summary

A local preschool in Broomfield is looking for a Support Teacher to assist in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. Responsibilities include helping children during lunch and rest periods, ensuring timely transitions between activities, and maintaining a clean classroom. Ideal candidates will have a love for working with children, possess organizational skills, and maintain a reliable and enthusiastic attitude. Previous experience with children preferred. Training provided for specific regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Colorado OEC Licensing Rules and Regulations is a plus.
• Must demonstrate reliable and timely behavior.

is a private preschool that mainly serves children whose ages are 6 weeks up through age 6. The Support Teacher position supports the operational side of the school and is an important part of our community with the goal of ensuring children have a safe and enjoyable lunch and rest period while reporting to the Director.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Being on time
• Create a safe and encouraging environment for children
• Cleaning the classroom
• Helping the children transition from various activities
• Provide assistance to children to fall asleep in a calm atmosphere
• Assist primary teachers with various tasks
• Changing diapers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Prior experience working with children a plus
• Knowledge of safe sleep environments and awareness of Colorado OEC Licensing Rules and Regulations. (Training on these topics will be provided)
• Timely and reliable
