Arlington Heights Park District is seeking a part-time Program Attendant to support youth basketball programs and other activities. You will open facilities, help with setup and cleanup, and supervise facilities during programs in the late afternoon and evening.

Shifts run Monday through Friday typically 4–9 p.m., with some variations. The target hiring range is $16–$17 per hour; experience with clerical tasks is valued and growth opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of clerical or general office experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Set up rooms before activities and clean up after meetings.
• Monitor open gym participants and maintain order.
• Sweep floors to keep surfaces clean and safe.
• Clean and sanitize touch surfaces as needed.
• Record attendance and report to Supervisor.
• Assist instructors and participate as needed.
• Answer phones and respond to public inquiries.
• Notify patrons of class cancellations or changes.

As a Program Attendant, you’ll open facilities, help with setup and cleanup, and oversee the building during youth basketball practices and other programs. Shifts are available Monday through Friday in the late afternoon and evening, typically 4–9 p.m., with some seasonal shifts running 3:30–10 p.m. Weekly hours vary based on program needs and assigned shifts.The target hiring range for this position is $16 - $17 per hour.
