Job description

The Support Services Float supports multiple departments within the hospital, with a primary focus on Environmental Services (EVS). This role assists with maintaining a clean, safe environment while also supporting Food & Nutrition, Laundry, and Supply operations as needed based on staffing and operational demands.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces
• Follow infection control and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned areas
• Assist with food service operations, including tray delivery and dishwashing
• Support laundry operations, including washing, drying, and distribution
• Assist with supply stocking and distribution
• Cross-train in multiple Support Services areas
• Respond to department needs and support hospital operations
