Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in City, State.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish goals and oversee the implementation of patient food services, based on medical guidance and patient needs.
  • Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
  • Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and meet patient preferences within diet guidelines.
  • Work towards achieving patient satisfaction goals.
  • Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation requirements, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
  • Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree with one year of experience in food services or related field, or bachelor's degree in food service management or related field.
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian.
  • Minimum of one year experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • ServSafe certification is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet management systems.
