A manufacturing company is seeking a Support Operator for 2nd & 3rd shifts. The role involves cleaning parts and applying various types of masking to prevent overspray. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, mathematical skills, and the ability to inspect parts. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. Summary

Cleans parts and applies various types of masking to prevent unpermitted blast, peen, spray, lube, or paint overspray.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Masks hardware with various types of masking to prevent overspray.
• Cleans the part to ensure the part is clean enough to allow masking and coatings to adhere or to allow effective peening of substrates.
• As applicable, uses tools to deburr the part prior to masking to allow complete coverage of coating and prevent delamination.
• Inspects the part to verify all characteristics for which he/she is responsible before signing the router and forwarding to subsequent operations.

Education, Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR and export control procedures.
