SUPPORT NURSE - LPN - WOODLANDS NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is offering a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for the Support Nurse - LPN position at Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We are seeking an experienced full-time Support Nurse - LPN for day shifts. This role involves assisting nursing staff, providing resident care under RN supervision, participating in quality assurance, infection control, and other nursing duties as outlined below.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering optimal patient care by supporting nursing personnel on the designated unit.
  • Participate in staffing coverage, including potential on-call duties.
  • Provide resident care according to the Nursing Practice Act and under RN supervision.
  • Delegate duties to non-licensed staff and monitor their performance.
  • Assist in quality assurance activities and infection control protocols.
  • Complete resident assessments, assist with new admissions, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Attend departmental meetings and participate in emergency responses, including CPR.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status and changes.
  • Support the healthcare team and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina, current and valid.
  • CPR certification, yearly in-service training, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Ability to make decisions, work under pressure, and handle nursing equipment.
