As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you are a vital part of our company's purpose: helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life's special moments, by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every single day. We are seeking merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, showcasing organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory levels of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

Pay:

• The starting pay is $13.50 per hour, with two increases during the first year of employment (rates are subject to change based on location).
• After 6 months, the pay increases to $14.30.
• After 1 year, the pay increases to $15.00.

The average weekly hours are 10, with potential increases to 20 hours during holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying products within greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining organized backroom areas, and other inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule concerns.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing effective time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during business hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as needed.
• Review and plan weekly service schedules using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
