Job summary

The New York State Unified Court System is seeking to hire a Support Magistrate for the Family Court in Oswego County.

You will conduct conferences and hearings, analyze complex legal issues, review documents, assess credibility, and issue detailed written decisions. Travel is required. This full-time position offers 20 paid vacation days in the first year. Applications must be postmarked by November 11, 2026.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant legal experience, three of which must be in New York State, gained after admission to the New York State Bar.
