Job summary

A.O. Smith is seeking a production operator to join our water heater manufacturing team in Tennessee. You will operate, tend, stop and clean machinery to ensure a safe, efficient production of high-quality products.

The role requires good communication, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team while multi-tasking and solving problems. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Primary Function

Responsible for performing tasks involved in the production of Water Heaters in a safe and efficient manner. Operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines, assemble finished product, inspect work performed to ensure highest quality finished product.
