Job summary

Sunshine Bouquet in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a part-time Support Floral Merchandiser to service customers and maintain high-volume displays. You will work with a lead merchandiser to manage inventory, cleanliness and merchandising before and during business hours.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, and operating a manual pallet jack. Reliable, detail-focused candidates with a smartphone and a valid driver's license are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lifting and palletizing boxes.
• Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Replenishing merchandise as items are purchased.
• Identifying and removing damaged or outdated floral items from display.
• Assisting potential floral customers with questions and selection of products during business hours.
• Sending and receiving emails with photo attachments from a smartphone.

Sunshine Bouquet, a leader in the mass-market floral industry, is looking for a motivated candidate to service our customers, managing, maintaining, and merchandising high-volume fresh-cut flower and potted plant displays in Cherry Hill, NJ.

JOB DESCRIPTION |

The Support Floral Merchandiser works at one of our client’s facilities with the Lead Merchandiser. Their duties include:

• Managing and inventorying product, and product shrink on a weekly basis.
• Cleaning, watering, restocking and merchandising floral displays before and during business hours.
• Accessing cold storage (for short periods).
• Moving palletized product around the facility with a manual pallet jack.
• Lifting and palletizing boxes.
• Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Quickly replenishing merchandise as items are purchased.
• Identifying and removing damaged or outdated floral items from display.
• Assisting potential floral customers with questions and selection of products during business hours.
• Sending and receiving emails with photo attachments from a smartphone.

REQUIREMENTS |

Candidate must be:

• Punctual.
• Professional.
• Able to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and be able to communicate effectively with supervisor(s).
• Computer literate and own a smartphone (with data service).
• Able to work on their feet, move about, bend, kneel, and must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to operate a manual pallet jack (training provided).
• Able to travel locally and must have a valid Driver’s License (in good standing).
• Available to work early mornings, split-shifts, weekends, and additional hours during holidays/promotional periods.
• Able to work with floral materials and foliage.
