Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Support Engineer for Computer Vision Systems to build and validate camera, controller, and edge compute hardware for customer deployment. The role includes commissioning on production lines, troubleshooting across software, hardware, and networks, and frequent travel to customer sites.

And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job Description**Position Summary:** Rockwell Automation is building machine vision and visual inspection into the Automation Control Software portfolio, alongside Studio 5000 Logix Designer and FactoryTalk Optix. You will be the person who makes the physical system real - building and testing the camera, controller, and compute hardware before it ships, then going to the plant and commissioning it on a running line. This role sits where software meets the factory floor. You will troubleshoot across code, controller, network, and optics, and you will often be the first person to see a failure mode nobody has seen before. This position involves regular travel to customer sites for deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
