Responsibilities

• Support individuals in engaging in both individual and group activities.
• Complete daily documentation, including progress notes and data tracking.
• Maintain a calm, neutral demeanor when assisting individuals.
• Help individuals work toward goals outlined in their support plans.
• Assist individuals with personal care needs while upholding dignity.
• Encourage physical activity to help individuals stay engaged.

Job Summary:

As a Support Coach, you will support people to grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible, both on-site in a classroom setting and in the community. You will have fun while working with a great team!

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Wage Range: $17- $19 per hour

As part of our team, you will help people in the following areas:

• Support individuals in engaging in both individual and group activities that encourage connection, learning, and enjoyment
• Complete daily documentation, including progress notes and data tracking, using computer-based systems
• Maintain a calm, neutral, and supportive demeanor when assisting individuals who may express heightened emotions or communication styles
• Help individuals work toward goals outlined in their support plans, including positive behavior support, communication, community involvement, and other specified objectives
• Assist individuals with personal care needs while upholding dignity and respect
• Encourage physical activity— such as walking, stretching, or other exercises—both indoors and outdoors to help individuals stay active and engaged
