Shift patterns: Full time

• 14 hour shifts
• Day shifts
• Weekend work is a must
• Sleep ins required (37.5 hours full time)

Driver Requirement: For this service, we require drivers due to service user needs.

Here at Lifeways in Weston-Super-Mare, we are looking for Support Workers to join our fantastic team. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant. If you are new to care but have a passion for helping others lead their most independent lives, then Lifeways can offer you excellent training and ongoing support to enable you to enjoy a rewarding career with us.

At this service, there are 5 people who we support that are in wheelchairs, 2 need hoisting for all transfers, and 5 have complex health needs. Full intimate personal care is needed for 5 residents, including pad changes as well as assistance with medication and all health visits/monitoring. We are looking for caring individuals needed to support with personal care and assisting with eating and drinking, accessing the community, and looking for opportunities to enrich lives.
