Job summary

Milliken & Company in Hudson, NH is seeking a Support Operator (Cleaner) to perform a wide range of cleaning and janitorial duties in the Hudson Plant. You will maintain bathrooms, breakrooms, floors and common areas, and support daily production cleanliness.

This safety-sensitive role requires reliability, basic communication, and the ability to stand and move throughout shifts; training is provided and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Clean, mop and stock bathrooms daily and as needed
• Clean and mop breakrooms on a daily basis. Clean lunchroom equipment as needed including refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, etc.
• Clean floors in offices and production areas
• Empty trash containers daily
• Shovel snow and assure that walkways and stairs are clear of ice and snow
• Monitor supply of janitorial supplies
• Performs other related duties as required or directed

POSITION OVERVIEW

Performs a wide variety of cleaning and janitorial duties

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regular and predictable attendance

Support Operator

• Clean, mop and stock bathrooms daily and as needed
• Clean and mop breakrooms on a daily basis. Clean lunchroom equipment as needed including refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, etc.
• Clean floors in offices and production areas.
• Empty trash containers daily.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Manufacturing experience
• Textile knitting experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity level can be more than 98% for 100% of day.

SHIFT/WORK HOURS

Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands.
