Job Summary:
Under general supervision, receives, stores and issues materials, equipment, and other items. Perform manual and clerical tasks involved in the distribution of supplies and materials.

Job Specific Duties:
• Transport supplies and equipment to and from various agency locations as needed.
• Determine appropriate storage methods and locations based on turnover rates, environmental conditions, and facility capabilities.
• Issue uniforms and equipment to staff in accordance with agency procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and requisition supplies and uniform items to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
• Label inventory using identification tags, stamps, or electronic marking tools.
• Pack and unpack supplies and equipment for storage or distribution in stockrooms or warehouses.
• Receive, count, and record inventory items manually or using computer systems.
• Organize and store items in a clean, orderly, and accessible manner within warehouses, supply rooms, or other designated areas.
• Conduct inventory audits by comparing physical counts with inventory records.
• Adhere to all safety protocols related to equipment operation and chemical handling.
• Perform lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and general upkeep.
• Carry out daily groundskeeping duties including watering, raking, and leaf blowing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college OR High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience in shipping and receiving OR One year of experience at the lower-level Supply/Warehouse Clerk 1 (FES010) or position equivalent.
Note: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Experience using lawn equipment such as tractors, zero-turn mowers, and small power tools.
• Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Capable of sitting, standing, and bending for extended periods.
• Willing and able to travel throughout the state as needed.
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory control.
• At least 2 years of experience in ordering, issuing, and maintaining supplies.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Skilled in using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
• Able to assemble and disassemble furniture and other items.
• Comfortable working in cold or dry storage environments.
