Job summary

Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking an experienced Supply Technician to support VP-62 at NAS Jacksonville, FL.

The role focuses on inventory and storage management, material control, property accountability, parts and tools ordering, and tool and equipment readiness. Qualified candidates will have Navy aviation supply experience, familiarity with NAMP/NAMPSOPs, TCP management, IMRL/AMMRL/METCAL programs, and a current Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Previous U.S. Navy or Marine Corps aviation supply or maintenance material-control experience.
  • Experience supporting Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) requirements.
  • Experience with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series requirements and NAMPSOPs.
  • Experience managing or supporting a Tool Control Program (TCP).
  • Experience managing or supporting IMRL, AMMRL, and/or METCAL programs.
  • Experience preparing for or supporting AMI, MPA, MMP/MPP, Quality Assurance, or similar maintenance program inspections.
  • Experience working in an aircraft maintenance Tool Room or aviation maintenance work-center environment.
  • Familiarity with Naval Aviation material control and aircraft parts ordering/receiving processes.
  • Familiarity with NALCOMIS/OOMA or other Naval Aviation maintenance and logistics systems.
  • Current Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical supply management functions including inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, and material accountability.
  • Order, receive, issue, track, store, and account for aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment supporting maintenance operations.
  • Manage the VP-62 Command Tool Control Program (TCP) in accordance with NAMP requirements, NAMPSOPs, and VP-62 procedures.
  • Maintain Tool Control Program master records and coordinate with designated work-center Tool Control Coordinators to ensure records and binders remain accurate and compliant.
  • Conduct monthly spot checks of the Tool Room, maintenance work centers, toolboxes, and associated records.
  • Document and report inspection findings to appropriate contractor and Government personnel and VP-62 Quality Assurance.
  • Manage the squadron's IMRL, AMMRL, and METCAL programs in accordance with applicable NAMP and command requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records for assigned support equipment, material readiness assets, and calibration requirements.
  • Monitor calibration status and assist in ensuring equipment requiring calibration remains properly controlled.
  • Prepare assigned programs for Aircraft Maintenance Inspections (AMIs), Maintenance Program Assessments (MPAs), and scheduled Quality Assurance inspections.
  • Identify program deficiencies and coordinate or recommend corrective actions to maintain NAMP compliance.
  • Apply governing supply systems, policies, manuals, and guidelines to daily supply actions.
  • Analyze supply or material-control issues, gather necessary information, determine the nature of discrepancies, and take or recommend corrective action.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in support of aircraft maintenance material readiness.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Quality Assurance, Tool Room personnel, maintenance work centers, and other Government and contractor personnel as required.
  • Support overall Naval Aviation maintenance operations and additional supply/material-control requirements within the scope of the contract.

STi is seeking an experienced Supply Technician to support VP-62 at NAS Jacksonville, FL.
