Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Supply Technician for the Material Returns Program (MRP) to manage turn-ins, carcass accountability, and related SECREP processes. This role involves coordinating returns, supporting disposition decisions, and maintaining precise records across departments and government interfaces.

The position requires 1–2 years of reparable-management experience, strong inventory skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• One to two years of military reparable-management experience.
• Experience with inventory management, distribution support, stock positioning, sourcing, and material-return processes.
• Ability to apply RIP secondary-reparable management processes and procedures.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track return of unserviceable assets and carcasses.
• Support carcass repair decisions, disposition-instruction requests, and material-return transactions.
• Maintain accurate records for turn-ins, returns, credits, and asset accountability.
• Monitor MRP credits and support resolution of return-related discrepancies.
• Coordinate with maintenance, warehouse, supply, and Government personnel to ensure timely return and processing of assets.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting on turn-ins, returns, inventory status, and SECREP performance.
• Provide SECREP and MRP process guidance to Government personnel as required
