Job summary

UnityPoint Health’s Marshalltown Hospital is looking for a Supply Tech II to join the Supply Chain team. This PRN role covers 8–12 hours per month, daytime hours Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, supporting clinical staff by stocking and organizing supplies across the hospital.

You will replenish supply closets, perform counts, and coordinate restocking using our inventory systems, ensuring readiness of carts and urgent requests are handled promptly in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Replenish supply closets and maintain stock levels throughout the hospital
• Accurately perform inventory counts and identify usage trends or irregularities
• Order supplies using inventory management systems and ensure timely restocking
• Support optimization of supply organization, quantities, and workflow efficiencies
• Replenish and inspect crash carts and other specialty carts for readiness
• Respond promptly to urgent supply and equipment requests from clinical teams
• Receive, check in, and organize incoming inventory deliveries
• Monitor equipment availability and coordinate repairs when needed
• Communicate supply shortages, out-of-stock items, and inventory concerns to leadership
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient supply environment
