Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Supply Technician for ESOC in New Cumberland, PA. The role focuses on warehouse/distribution tasks, inventory control, and applying established guidelines to support depot operations.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, 3 years in distribution/warehousing with WMS, be able to lift 50 pounds, operate forklift up to 6000 pounds, and pass background checks and drug screening. This is a temporary full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and three years distribution and warehousing experience using WMS.
• Three years of material/supply functions in military services or in commercial applications.

Overview:

Seeking Supply Technicians for a warehouse/distribution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
• Analyzes and establishes facts and takes or recommends action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Performs all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

Education and/or Experience:

• Must possess as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and experience that includes three (3) years distribution and warehousing using WMS.
  • Three years of material/supply functions, in the military services on in commercial applications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be trained to operate forklift up to 6000 pounds.
• Requires a good working knowledge of the Government supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Understanding of the distribution operations process.
• Must have the experience and ability to perform the responsibilities stated in the above job description.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have minimum of intermediate computer skills.
• You must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull up to 50 pounds unassisted and be willing to wear all required safety equipment.
• Must be able to obtain the required Government clearance and base access required for the position.
• Must pass the drug screening and all applicable background checks.
