Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Supply Technician for a warehouse/distribution role in Tracy, CA. The position involves inventory management, storage management, cataloging and property utilization as part of depot and local supply activities.

You must have a high school diploma and at least three years in distribution/warehousing with WMS; forklift operation up to 6000 pounds; strong attention to detail and good written and oral communication; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in material/supply functions in military or commercial settings.
• Ability to obtain Government clearance and base access.

• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with the position.

Education and/or Experience:

• Must possess as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and experience that includes three (3) years distribution and warehousing using WMS.
• Three years of material/supply functions, either in the military services on in commercial applications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be trained to operate forklift up to 6000 pounds.
• Requires a good working knowledge of the Government supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Understanding of the distribution operations process.
• Must have the experience and ability to perform the responsibilities stated in the above job description.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have minimum of intermediate computer skills.
• You must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull up to 50 pounds unassisted and be willing to wear all required safety equipment.
• Must be able to obtain the required Government clearance and base access required for the position.
• Must pass the drug screening and all applicable background checks.
