Job summary

Olgoonik in Charleston, SC is seeking a Supply Technician for a warehouse/distribution role. You will perform inventory management, storage, cataloging and property utilization to support depot and local supply activities.

Responsibilities include following established guidelines, operating forklifts up to 6000 pounds, interpreting instructions, and performing other duties as assigned. A high school diploma and 3 years in warehousing with WMS are required; ability to obtain government clearance

Qualifications

• Must possess as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and experience that includes three (3) years distribution and warehousing using WMS.
• Three years of material/supply functions, either in the military services on in commercial applications.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with the position.

Education and/or Experience:

• Must possess as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and experience that includes three (3) years distribution and warehousing using WMS.
• Three years of material/supply functions, either in the military services on in commercial applications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be trained to operate forklift up to 6000 pounds.
• Requires a good working knowledge of the Government supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Understanding of the distribution operations process.
• Must have the experience and ability to perform the responsibilities stated in the above job description.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have minimum of intermediate computer skills.
• You must be able to lift, carry, move, push, pull up to 50 pounds unassisted and be willing to wear all required safety equipment.
• Must be able to obtain the required Government clearance and base access required for the position.
• Must pass the drug screening and all applicable background checks.
