Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) in Missouri to ensure ambulances are stocked, maintained, and ready for response. The role supports patient transport services and requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a high school diploma or GED.

As an AMR VST, you will document and coordinate with crews, maintain inventory, and collaborate with health and safety personnel. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered with commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ambulances are fully stocked, safely maintained and ready to provide transportation services.
  • Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment for crew and patients.
  • Manage daily vehicle inventory checks, replace expiring medications/equipment, and request inventory when needed.
  • Document information as required and adhere to company policies with information security in mind.
  • Coordinate efforts between departments, crews and other vehicle service techs.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and the operations team.

We're hiring a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) responsible for ensuring our ambulances are effectively serviced, safe and ready for response. This is a key role to help our team maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Service Technicians will ensure the ambulances are fully stocked, safely maintained and ready to provide transportation services.

  • Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for the crew and the patients.

  • Manage daily vehicle inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly replace expiring medications and equipment, and request inventory when necessary.

  • Clearly document information as required and adhere to company policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.

  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments crews and other vehicle service techs.

  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow VSTs and operations team.

Physical Demands:
  • Kneeling

  • Leaning

  • Pushing/pulling

  • Driving ambulances, walking inside and outside in weather all year round

  • Lifting up to 70lbs

  • Operating basic office equipment

MinimumRequired Qualifications:
  • State Driver's License
  • Must able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
