Job summary

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is seeking a Supply Technician at the Mayport, FL location. The role focuses on logistics support, inventory control, and coordination of receiving, shipping, and distribution of materials and services.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of specialized experience at GS-06 or equivalent, with knowledge of supply chain management and familiarity with automated inventory systems.

Qualifications

Duties

You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN within NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: A thorough knowledge and application of supply chain management of systems and software by providing logistical support for services such as receiving, shipping, distribution, and delivery of services and materials. Examples of specialized experience may include:

1. Compliance with Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) storage requirements and regulations; labeling, and procedures;
2. Maintaining shipment inventories and inspecting materials for compliance with regulations;
3. Resolving discrepancies within inventory management and customer service;
4. Utilizing automated systems for inventorying and recording records.
