Job summary

Advent is seeking a Supply Technician to support medical logistics on-site at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will receive, inspect, store, issue, deliver, and dispose of medical supplies and equipment following established procedures.

The role includes inventory control, cataloging, and reporting discrepancies to maintain accurate warehouse records. You will perform material handling, palletizing, and routing for storage or shipment, and assist with controlled medical items and hazardous

Qualifications

• The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in a supply/warehouse environment.
• The candidate should be familiar with USAF supply systems and DMLSS.
• A valid driver's license and ability to operate handling equipment are required.
• Must meet OSHA/AFOSH safety standards and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to sign an NDA prior to performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, issue, deliver, and dispose of medical supplies and equipment.
• Perform inventory management, storage organization, cataloging, and property accountability.
• Identify and report discrepancies and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Package, palletize, and route materials for storage, shipment, or disposition.
• Handle controlled medical items, hazardous materials, gases, and temperature-sensitive products.
• Transport supplies between medical logistics, base support activities, and customer locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Support daily medical logistics operations to ensure timely supply availability.

Position: Supply Technician

Location: Wright Patterson AFB, OH (On-site)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0730-1630

Mandatory Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a supply or warehouse environment; medical supply experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of USAF supply systems, including Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), policies, procedures, and logistics guidelines.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to operate hand trucks and material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA and AFOSH ground safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties involving medical supplies and equipment.
• Ability to provide a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the start of performance.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working in the logistics section of a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
• Prior military logistics experience (AFSC
  4A1) with exposure to logistics, supply, or medical units.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, store, issue, deliver, and dispose of medical supplies and equipment in accordance with established logistics procedures.
• Perform inventory management, storage organization, cataloging, property accountability, and material verification.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, and inventory issues while maintaining accurate warehouse records.
• Prepare, package, palletize, and route materials for storage, shipment, or disposition using approved handling methods.
• Process incoming supplies using proper handling procedures for controlled medical items, hazardous materials, gases, precious metals, and temperature-sensitive products.
• Transport medical supplies and equipment between medical logistics, base support activities, and customer locations.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards, including equipment rooms and recycling activities.
• Support daily medical logistics operations to ensure timely supply availability and exceptional customer service.
