Job summary

AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC. is seeking a Supply Technician at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing medical supplies and managing inventory in direct support of USAF and DoD operations.

The position requires at least six months in a supply or warehouse setting, a valid driver''s license, and a high school diploma or GED. An Associate''s or bachelor''s degree in logistics or business is preferred. Military logistician experience (MTF) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform supply technician activities including: receiving, delivering and disposition of supplies, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, verification of materials against receiving documents, reporting discrepancies and damages, routing materials to storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing according to storage methods; taking inventory and reporting deterioration.
• Verify delivery, receipt, storage, and issue of incoming supplies.
• Apply special handling procedures for controlled medical items, gases, dangerous materials, and refrigerated/frozen materials.
• Transport supplies between medical logistics and base support activities and customers.
• Maintain housekeeping standards by cleaning the hi-bay and equipment room and recycling cardboard.
• Other duties as assigned

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The Supply Technician provides unparalleled services, supply warehouse support, and assistance in areas required to meet the stated objectives and to accomplish the work required. The requirements are for medical logistics in direct support of USAF, DoD, and in operational settings

Responsibilities

• Perform supply technician activities including: receiving, delivering and disposition of supplies, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, verification of materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment and/or disposition.
• Perform verification of delivery, receipt, storage, and issue of incoming supplies.
• Apply special handling procedures for the following: controlled medical items, gases, precious metals, dangerous and hazardous material, and refrigerated and frozen materials.
• Transport supplies and equipment between medical logistics and base support activities and customers.
• Maintain thorough housekeeping standards by cleaning the hi-bay and equipment room and sweeping/mopping the warehouse on a regular basis.
• Recycling cardboard by placing it in the appropriate dumpster.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum (6) six months experience in supply or warehouse setting, Medical Supply is ideal.
• Possess a valid driver's license to operate hand trucks.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business.
• Experience in the logistics section within a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
• Military experience as a logistician (4A1) with exposure to logistics, supply and/or medical units.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of OSHA and AFOSH ground safety standard.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and heavier loads occasionally, ensuring all movement of equipment
