Job summary

SAIC in Hanahan, SC is seeking a Supply Technician to coordinate and expedite material flow across facilities.

You will review production schedules, determine material requirements, arrange transfers, and verify parts for current projects.

U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance is required; five years of DoD logistics experience is preferred; CAC and CMPro are desired.

The Supply Technician will

• Coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with Facility manager or facility staff engineer priorities
• Review production schedules and conferring with staff to determine material requirements
• Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules; examine material to verify type specified for current project; and compute amount of material needed for specific job orders

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Five (5) years of experience, to include supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility; financial management; logistics support for projects involving electronic/ electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
