Job description

This vacancy is for a GS-2001-9, Supply Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC PB SUPPLY SEC 1 -SFLC-PBPL-SUPP-1 in BALTIMORE, Maryland.

To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance. Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes. Uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.
