The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners.

This position reports to the Senior Leader PSI & Business Analytics and is part of the Integrated Supply Chain Function located in one of these facilities Deland, FL; Port Washington, NY; Timonium, MD; Cortland, NY and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Owns and maintains the weekly/monthly Supply plan for the entire Energy + business unit and reconciles against the demand plan to highlight any gaps or major changes.
• Collates information and hosts/facilitates monthly Business Unit Level PSI Review (Month 2 to Month 18) with the BU GM and all key stakeholders.
• Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand expectations, minimizing stock-outs whilst ensuring inventory is turning at targeted levels. Develop tools to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning and provide insight for executive decision making.
• Collaborate with demand planning to develop strategic regional allocations, supply commitments and plan for the operational horizon (2-18 months)
• Partners with key manufacturing sites and sourcing leaders to ensure long term supply of critical raw materials based on latest Finished good demand plans. Partners with sourcing team to escalate supply shortages to executive management to minimize disruptions to supply continuity.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or relevant field with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning in global manufacturing and supply chain environment.
• 3+ years experience with significant data analysis related to supply planning including data visualization tools, advanced planning software and ERP.
• Experience owning supply planning function including oversight of inventory levels and collaboration with planning and sourcing staff.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic planning efforts (3-18 months) as well as strong presentation skills and ability to make recommendations and influence senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies to include lean conversions.
  
  

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: 25%

• Ability to travel regionally and internationally up to 25% of the time primarily domestic.
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Certified in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, or similar.
• Experienced understanding of the RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) and Counter Measures (CM) processes and Action Plan implementation.
• Previous experience using an Advanced Planning System (APS)
