Carmeuse is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support the North America team in Pittsburgh. You will assist in reporting, analytics, PO creation, pricing negotiations, and supplier management while gaining exposure to ERP systems.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, teamwork, and clear communication across organization levels, with opportunities to contribute to forecasting and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing department daily.

Job Description

The Supply Chain intern will be responsible for assisting supply chain team in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily supply chain activities, including reporting, analytics, purchase order creation and maintenance, pricing negotiations, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Assist/Support Purchasing department on a daily basis .
• Access and navigate Supply Chain ERP applications
• Participate in weekly supply planning/purchasing meetings.
• Assist with supplier communications on daily topics.
• Generate process and procedure documents for critical supply chain functions.
• Interface with the suppliers on delivery and pricing targets.

• Assist business planning team with various forecasting and analysis as needed

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate business student with/or pursuing major in Supply Chain

Management.

• Solid analytical skills and self- motivated .
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of

tasks.

• Oracle supply chain applications experience a huge plus
