Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a Supply Planning Analyst for a 12 Month + Contract opportunity. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, scheduling, and monitoring inbound movement of materials from suppliers.
  • Determining material requirements and coordinating the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
  • Developing specifications for new contract orders.

You will be responsible for:

  • Determining material requirements and coordinating the supply of externally sourced production materials for the Supplier Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle tactical planning responsibilities related to internal/external supply chain partners to maintain high customer service levels.
  • Manage material procurement, supplier capacity planning, inventory management, demand analysis, and vendor-managed inventory processes.
  • Analyze the impact of forecast and schedule changes on procurement and production.
  • Work directly with suppliers to understand their planning systems and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Planners to develop valid production plans.
  • Assist team members to meet customer needs.
  • Review data for accuracy and support supplier agreements.
  • Participate in supplier scorecard reviews to achieve on-time delivery and cost savings targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of planning experience.
  • Understanding of material procurement, capacity planning, inventory analysis, and advanced planning techniques.
  • Experience with ERP tools, especially JD Edwards, and Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
  • Proficiency with PowerBI.
