Job summary

simplehuman is seeking a Supply Planner in Torrance, CA to join our Operations team. You will own supply planning and inventory management for a portfolio of products, balancing demand forecasts, production timelines, and logistics to keep inventory in the right place at the right time.

This is an on-site role at our Torrance office. You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Accounting, and manufacturing to align on supply needs and leverage historical data and BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations or related field.
• 1-3 years of forecasting/planning analyst or related supply chain experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with cross-functional updates.
• Advanced Excel skills and numerical/analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans and purchase orders to align inventory with demand.
• Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers for production planning and lead times.
• Oversee inventory positions across locations relative to demand.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Accounting, and manufacturing.
• Use historical data and promotions to forecast supply for new and existing products.
• Identify supply risks and escalate issues to management.
• Track metrics like fill rate, weeks of supply, turns, and aging.
• Drive improvements in inventory performance.
• Ensure inventory allocation processes run smoothly across channels.
• Drive process improvements across supply planning workflows.
