Job summary

Jobtailor in Madison, NJ is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory and align supply with customer demand. You will own material planning and stocking locations, and work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to prevent disruptions.

The role requires knowledge of ERP & MRP systems (Infor M3 preferred), strong Excel skills, and a track record of driving improvements in inventory turnover and KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management or related field.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory optimization, and demand planning.
• Experience with ERP & MRP systems, preferably Infor M3.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and pivot tables in Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory levels and ensure seamless alignment of supply with customer demand
• Own material planning of assigned items and stocking locations
• Manage complex planning responsibilities and collaborate with suppliers
• Work closely with internal teams to prevent disruptions
• Contribute to achieving organizational goals by balancing inventory and maintaining accurate planning parameters
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
• Review and manage MRP outputs and communicate purchase order requirements
• Monitor purchase order status and resolve issues to maintain uninterrupted supply
• Oversee and execute distribution orders for non-purchased stocking locations
• Align forecasts with supply strategies and identify gaps or opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving inventory turnover and reducing costs

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory optimization techniques, and demand planning processes
• Experience using ERP & MRP systems - ideally Infor M3
• Demonstrable experience using MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
