Job summary

IDEX Corporation, a global leader in engineered solutions, is seeking a Supply Planner in Brenham, TX. This role develops and maintains supply plans, balancing demand with inventory, capacity, and efficiency.

You will work with Manufacturing, Procurement, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to optimize product availability and service levels. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years in supply or production planning, strong ERP/MRP experience, and advanced Excel skills, with JD Edwards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required or preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or similar.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-priority management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly supply plans to meet demand.
• Translate demand forecasts and orders into actionable production requirements.
• Ensure alignment between plans, inventory targets, and capacity.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to support scheduling and adherence.
• Monitor inventory levels to optimize availability and minimize excess.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks; communicate issues clearly across teams.
• Develop reports and insights to support decision-making and KPI tracking.
• Support continuous improvement in planning processes and data governance.
