Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Supply Planner for a hybrid role serving Towson, MD and other US locations. You’ll manage plant and supplier inventory, drive working capital turns, and target 98% service levels across the North America Tools & Outdoor supply chain.

Join a global team focused on optimization, capacity planning, and collaboration with Marketing, Engineering and Manufacturing to deliver New Product introductions and ensure timely market delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Supply Chain experience.
• Strong system knowledge: JDA, Excel, SAP, and Business Warehouse.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory for specific plants and suppliers to support working capital turns.
• Reduce excess and obsolete through NPD, transitions, and undersells.
• Maintain 98% service level for planned items.
• Perform monthly capacity review of components, tooling and staffing (PSI/RCCP).
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to solve problems.
• Lead or present in S&OP, Capacity Planning, NPD, and team meetings.
• Drive capacity planning to deliver WC turns and proper CapEx utilization.

The Job

As a Supply Planner, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor North America Supply Chain team as a hybrid employee. In this role, your focus will include:

• Manage inventory for specific plants/suppliers to support working capital turn goals
• Reduce Excess & Obsolete through management of NPD, transitions, and undersells
• Maintain service level of items planned in order to support overall goal of 98% service level
• Update weekly service level root cause analysis and drive resolution and corrective action of future occurrences
• Minimize short supply challenges, as well as discover, resolve, and communicate recoverySuccessfully deliver New Product through the stages of Capacity Evaluation, Set Up, Production & Market Delivery
• Coordinate globally with Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams
• Conduct monthly review of capacity of components, tooling and manning (PSI/RCCP)
• Facilitate Global Capacity Planning to deliver aggressive WC Turns, 98% SL, and appropriate utilization and CapEx
• Become an expert in the JDA supply planning systems to support source planners and drive planning efficiency
• Regularly review and update system settings for errors to maintain a clean and robust working environment
• Regularly review % to Target, Workbench Capacity, Safety Stock, and plant schedules to achieve WCT turns goals balanced with customer fill rates
• Work collaboratively with all functional areas of the business; Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, to solve problems and identify business improvement opportunities
• Serve as link between suppliers/GSMA/manufacturing locations and the market
• Lead or present as the voice of supply chain Ops at S&OP, Capacity Planning, NPD, and Team Meetings
