Job summary

Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in Princeton is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to ensure inventory planning for Rx and SRx products meets market demand.

You will work with the Lead Supply Chain Planner to understand product demand and execute supply planning to maintain continuous product availability in the market. Responsibilities include coordinating with production, logistics, quality and procurement teams, tracking KPIs, and optimizing inventories while supporting timely launches of new products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical background.
  • Experience with inventory planning and ERP systems (SAP/S4HANA) and Kinaxis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory planning for Rx and SRx products to meet market demand.
  • Oversee movement of goods from production to delivery to customers.
  • Track KPIs to monitor and report performance.
  • Optimize inventory holdings to minimize excess stocks while fulfilling orders.
  • Collaborate with project management/marketing and procurement for timely launches of new products or SKUs.
  • Coordinate daily with External Manufacturing and quality teams for batch releases.
  • Perform periodic inventory reconciliations (monthly/quarterly/annually) with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure master data setups comply with SOP and MRP requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer service and quality teams on returns to determine product disposition.

Job description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join us at our Princeton office, ensuring inventory planning for all Rx and SRx products meets market demands. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Supply Chain Planner to understand product demand and execute supply planning activities to ensure continuous product availability in the market.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for inventory planning for all Rx and SRx products to meet market demands.
  • Oversee the movement of goods from production to delivery to the end customer.
  • Track key performance indicators to monitor and report performance.
  • Optimize the inventory holdings to limit excess Stocks while ensuring fulfilling timely customer orders
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with project management/marketing and procurement teams to facilitate the timely launch of new products or new SKUs.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating with External Manufacturing team and quality teams on a daily basis to facilitate batch releases.
  • You will be responsible for performing monthly/quarterly/annual inventory reconciliations with UPS, ensuring proper communication, approval, and systematic adjustments for destruction and write-offs.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all master data setups adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) requirements.
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with customer service and quality teams on returns to determine product disposition.
Educational qualification

Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field

Minimum work experience

3 - 6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical background

  • Preferred ERP Experience - SAP-S4 Hana, Kinaxis.
  • Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
