Waymo in Washington DC is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee depot operations, vendor management, and strategic supply-demand planning for the Waymo Driver network in the DC market.
You will expand market reach, build partnerships, supervise infrastructure activation, and drive continuous improvements using data insights and cross-functional leadership.

This role follows an in person work schedule and reports to the Washington DC Market Lead
Provide Strategic Leadership (Vendor Management): Leverage strategic and decisive leadership to manage and optimize daily operations, fostering a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration and accountability, while overseeing depot operations (vendor performance) to ensure strict adherence to all safety, compliance, and regulatory protocols.
Lead Market Expansion: Strategically expand the market by executing innovative initiatives, leveraging data insights, and applying critical thinking to identify opportunities and resolve challenges effectively.
Lead Infrastructure activation: Work to enable new infrastructure sites using advanced tooling in the shortest time possible to support additional supply
7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably managing daily operations in a fast-paced environment in fleet management, transportation, or logistics, with a deep understanding of safety.
The expected base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
